iTunes and Pure Vinyl Server (Preview Release 2) CPU Usage, 2 GHz Mac Mini, Mac OS X 10.6.1 (Snow Leopard)

NOTE: the CPU footprint of audio software will naturally depend on the computer (and OS) used.

For example: a Mac Mini will show a higher percentage of CPU use than a Mac Pro. Likewise, an older (slower) computer will show more CPU usage than a newer one. To put this another way, a benchmark run on a Mac Pro will appear to be more favorable than the same benchmark run on a Mac Mini.

Like ALL computer benchmarks, CPU usage comparisons MUST either be made using the same computer, or the computer speed (including number of processors) somehow taken into account.
