* DeltaVideo LE files can be stamped with the time, resolved to 1/100 sec. Capture date is available as the title of the extracted frame. DeltaVideo LE files are compatible with DeltaVideo.
** AppleEvents can be used to launch or activate other applications. Other applications can, in turn, use the image (or QuickTime movie) optionally placed on the Clipboard by DeltaVideo. For example, a FAX application might be used to transmit the image elsewhere, or the image might be used by an email application.
Disk space per captured frame at default setting (Normal compression) typically is 18 to 30 kB per frame at 320x240 and 160x120 frame sizes (including thumbnail frames, which also are saved in the capture file). Disk space increases at larger frame sizes.
DeltaVideo and DeltaVideo LE 2.0, versus version 1.x:

Rewritten to better utilize Apple's Sequence Grabber API, for compatibility with recent third-party video input devices.
DeltaVideo 2.0: Image capture optionally can be "throttled" to a specified rate, in frames per second. For example, if video and computer hardware permits video motion analysis and capture at 30 fps, the capture rate can be limited to to a smaller value, such as 3 fps, while continuting to analyze intermediate frames. Then, a motion detection event initially would override the throttled rate, saving the first motion detection event frame, and then revert to 3 fps capture until quiescent, when immediate detection would automatically be re-enabled.
