About the Movie: The QuickTime movie was extracted from a DeltaVideo version 1.0.1 capture file. It illustrates features of DeltaVideo:
A portion of the video frame surrounding the motion tracking arrow, enclosing the spider, automatically tracks the arrow (which indicates the coordinates causing activation of motion detection), as an animated 'sprite.' The rest of the frame consists of all of the frames in the movie, averaged together. With this feature, compression of the resulting movie is improved.
Also shown in the movie are the capture activation coordinates (coordinates of the indicator arrow), upper left hand corner; the object velocity, below the coordinates, and the time. The intermittent red 'tail' extending from the tip of the arrow is the motion vector, which shows the object's motion relative to the previous frame. The color of the text, arrow (including fill), and motion vector can be independently adjusted.
